FOR ALL OF US, THERE IS A MOMENT BEFORE AND AFTER FM3.

After attending numerous "workshops", I had the feeling that something was missing, that I was not completely professional. There is an old saying which reads, "The teacher appears when the student is ready."
In November, 2012 at a workshop in Madrid, Mr. Huy Nguyen, founder of FEARLESS AND FOUNDATION WORKSHOP, appeared in my life.

He told me about FM3. It was what I was hoping and waiting for.

FOUNDATION WORKSHOP MEXICO 3 is, without a doubt, the best investment I've ever made in my professional career. I spent five intense days in the city of Querétaro (MEXICO) with nineteen students and some of the most elite professionals in the wedding photography world. It was un-imaginable to have the company of Mr. Huy Nguyen, Ben and Erin Chrisman, Brett Butterstein, Sergio Photographer, Citlalli Rico, Kelly Rashka, Anita Arellano, and Carlos Alonso.  In addition were my personal mentors, Mr. Daniel Aguilar, Katrina Wallace and Andrew Mejia. Each and every one of them gave us their best physical and emotional support throughout the time we spent in Querétaro.

Today my friends, Daniel, Katrina and Andrew, have shown me that there is more to see beyond the lens of my camera - to live each moment at a time, to fall in love with all of those I meet through the viewfinder, to capture their emotions and soul.  Without a doubt, for all of us who had the opportunity to attend FOUNDATION WORKSHOP MEXICO 3...THERE IS A MOMENT BEFORE AND AFTER.

THE IMPORTANCE IS NOT IN WHAT PEOPLE DO BUT IN HOW THEY FEEL IT. These were very wise words expressed by my mentors that guided me while I registered images of children who had stolen my heart.

We laughed, cried, felt frustrated, and were motivated in the company of a wonderful and special group of students, to name a few - Marcelo Alvarez, Jonathan Guajardo, Lazaro Casas and Juan Euan, all who helped me find myself. Long ago, a child dreamed about being a great photographer, and today, my dream is realized!!!

 

PARA TODOS HAY UN ANTES Y UN DESPUES DE FM3.

Tras asistir a innumerables workshops, sentía la necesidad de crecer más profesionalmente; y como dice el refrán: "Cuando el alumno está preparado, el maestro aparece". Así fue, Huy Nguyen, fundador de FEARLESS y FOUNDATION WORKSHOP, apareció en mi vida.

En su workshops, impartido en noviembre del 2012 en la ciudad de Madrid, me habló de FM3. Yo no me podía creer lo que escuchaba; era, indiscutiblemente, lo que estaba esperando.

FOUNDATION WORKSHOPS MEXICO 3 es, sin lugar a dudas, la mejor inversión que he realizado en toda mi carrera profesional. 5 días intensos en la ciudad de Querétaro (México), donde un número reducido de alumnos, compartimos con varios de los mejores fotógrafos del mundo. De manera que fue un lujo tener a mi lado personas como Huy Nguyen, Ben y Erin Chrisman, Brett Butterstein, Sergio, Citlalli Rico, Kelly Rashka, Ana Arellano, María Velarde y Carlos Alonso. Sin olvidar a mis mentores: Daniel Aguilar, Katrina Wallece y Andrew Mejía; quienes , de manera especial, me acompañaron emocional y físicamente en muchos momentos de mi misión.

Hoy mis amigos, Daniel, Katrina y Andrew, me enseñaron a ver más allá de una cámara, a vivir cada momento, a enamorarme de las personas que fotografío y cómo ver, a través de mis imágenes, sus almas y emociones. Creo , sin duda, que para todos los que fuimos FOUNDATION WORKSPHOPS MEXICO 3 hay un antes y un después.

"LO IMPORTANTE NO ES LO QUE HACE LA GENTE, SINO COMO SE SIENTE LA GENTE CON LO QUE HACE", sabias palabras de mis mentores; cuando, en aquel colegio de Querétaro, luchaba por registrar imágenes de aquellos niños que poco a poco llegaron a mi corazón.

Momentos para reír, llorar, frustrarse y motivarse junto a mis compañeros de grupo Marcelo Álvarez, Jonathan Guajardo, Lázaro Casas y Juan Euan, quienes me ayudaron a conseguirme conmigo mismo. Aquel niño que un día soñó con ser un gran fotógrafo, hoy descubrió, que dicho sueño sí se hacía realidad.
